Camp Gan Israel Chamah is a summer camp dedicated to enriching the lives of children from diverse Jewish backgrounds and affiliations through a stimulating camping experience. Our 18 years of highest quality camping assures you that our focus on child safety and program excellence is unparalleled. Gan Israel Chamah is part of the largest and fastest growing network of day camps, enjoying a reputation as a pioneer in Jewish camping, with innovative ideas and creative activities, to both provide enjoyment and inspire children to try new and exciting things!
The Directors
The Camp Director, Mrs. Hannah Zaltzman, has been directing summer camps almost every summer, since she's 18 years old, including camp Gan Israel Chamah since 1999. In addition to her administrative skills, she is a fantastic educator and dedicated mother.
The safety and the well being of your child is always her primary concern.
With her vast experience as a camp director you can be rest assured that your child is "in good hands" and will have a great time.
Rabbi Efraim Zaltzman, is a community leader for many years. He was appointed as spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Brighton Beach in 1998, and directs Chabad of Kingsborough since 1999. Rabbi Zaltzman has been the co-director of Camp Gan Israel Chamah for many years.
