2. Activities and Adventures

Camp Gan Israel’s innovative arts and crafts teach the children to be creative and imaginative. The crafts incorporate various themes in Jewish life as well as fun and useful projects. Campers are sure to proudly look back at the craft of their own hands well after the summer is over.

3. Our track record

Brooklyn Jewish Camp was established in 1999 and has been providing a great camping experience to Jewish boys and girls ever since. Many of our campers have been coming back year after year.

Our camp gives your child a full program of sports, games, crafts, dramatics and other enriching camp activities, and our experienced staff work to develop skills, confidence and a sense of fair play within each child.

4. Staff

Child development is the most significant ingredient in a healthy camp experience. This is why our staff is the real secret to our success. Our experienced counselors are known for their personal warmth and ability to care for each child as an individual. Many staff members return year after year, lending experience and continuity to all programs. Each counselor is a role model for our children, promising them friendship which will last forever! Their love for the children is surpassed only by the children’s love for them.

5. Safety and Accreditation

The safety of our children is our highest priority. The camp is fully licensed as a youth camp by the NYC Department of Health, and many of our staff are CPR and first aid trained and are with the kids at all times.
