Questions Parents Ask…

  • Yes. Scholarships are available based on need and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We truly believe that every Jewish child deserves a Jewish camp experience, and we do our very best to make that possible for families. We encourage parents to reach out early so we can explore options together.

  • Yes, bussing is available for an additional cost. Our current routes service the general Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach, and Midwood areas. With enough demand, we are often able to add additional routes, so please reach out if transportation is a concern for your family.

  • No. Camp provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day. Breakfast includes simple, healthy options such as cereal, fruit, and whole grains. For lunch, we partner with a caterer to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals that always include vegetables and whole grains. Campers also enjoy a snack during the day to keep their energy up.

  • Yes. Campers go on weekly trips within the five boroughs, and we love to surprise them with one or two additional special trips throughout the summer. To wrap up the season, campers enjoy a grand end-of-summer trip, which may take them a bit farther and serves as a memorable highlight of their camp experience.

  • Early drop-off or extended hours may be available depending on demand. Please contact us to discuss your needs, and we will do our best to accommodate families whenever possible.

  • Our head counselor works closely with the staff to ensure each day is fun, full, and meaningful. Campers begin their day with davening and shiur, setting a positive and uplifting tone. From there, the day includes traditional camp games and activities along with instructor-led programs such as karate, music, and chess. Campers also enjoy swimming multiple times each week, giving them a balance of structure, skill-building, and pure summer fun.
